The cemetery in Haditch - 24 Teves, 5766
In honor of the Alter Rebbe's Yahzeit this week, I'm posting a picture from my Great Ukrainian Trek three years ago to Haditch, where the Alter Rebbe is buried.
Please note: I have another new post directly below this one - don't forget to check it out.
Wishing everyone a good Shabbos!

Beautiful image - again! Thank you for this.
Shabbat Shalom to you.

It's nice that it is all still there. A beautiful setting.
Shabbat Shalom.
I was there! I was there! I was thereeeeeeeeeeeee!
Very somber. Very somber, indeed.
I remember being there when I was 12. Very strange experience.
-Shevuatov and Leora: thanks!
-The Sabra: first Poland then Ukraine . . . were you stalking me around Europe?
-Chaviva: You really find it that somber? Personally I often feel a sense of connection while at old Jewish cemeteries . . .
-Crawling Axe: You're from Ukraine? What was strang about visiting at 12?
Ahem, I was in Haditch the year before you. And Poland, hmm I think you win--when were you there?
that year 5766
Alright alright so once you saw that I have cool itineraries-like Ukraine-you decided to run ahead (and open a Yeshiva?) and go to Poland before I would. Big deal. I still win. (Probably not, but lemme say it, k?)
