it looks like the added the hat and beard
in stamford hill there is an advertisement pamflet that comes out every week. all the pictures of peoples faces happen to be covered with big stars saying 'NEW!' or 'BESTER'. I think this is for tznius reasons. However in this case its probably more that the guy didnt want his picture shown, although you can see it anyway on the facebook page :)
Yes, the beard definitely looks photoshopped in.

Seems he's trying to look dashing in a photoshopped kind of way. Honestly I find the writing on the side funnier.
