The letters of our thoughts are the ideas present in our mind before they come to realization . . . Thoughts that are, yet not felt . . . The words of the subconscious . . . of the soul . . .

These are the LETTERS OF MY THOUGHTS.

Things I've learned about marriage:

Wow . . . Having been married for over two and a half months, I've reached a new stage of knowledge in life. Perhaps I've matured from all the things I've learned . . . then again, looking at them, perhaps not.

Things I've learned about marriage:
  • Don't point out rats in the subway
  • Don't point out roadkill in upstate new york
  • Instant Ramen isn't fine dining
  • Getting matching race car beds wouldn't "cool"
  • Beer isn't the universal refresher
  • Even when you're right, you're still wrong.
  • Never question the number of shoes a woman owns
  • Being married means packing 30% of the clothes before a trip, but carrying 90%
  • Don't walk around the house listening to Podcasts
  • Just because you wore your shoes in Machu Pichu, Uman and Virginia Tech doesn't mean they're not falling apart
  • Pickles are not an ideal midnight snack
  • Don't Twitter while I'm talking to you
  • Blogging until 3:00 in the morning isn't early to bed . . .
  • . . . nor is getting up at 9:30 early to rise
  • It's not appreciated to point out that Sheitels come from the heads of Russian prisoners
  • Ecclesiastes 9:9
Oh and last but not least!
  • Never, ever, question the number of shoes a woman has!
My thanks go out to my dear wife for putting up with posts that poke fun at marriage.

A wise one you are. Though I still like pickles of the crunchy dill sort.

Where is that picture from?

And just imagine what your list will look like after being married 10 years!

Um....why are pickles not an ideal midnight snack? I think that they most certainly are! And matching race car beds is funny. Maybe not cool, but definitely funny..as long as they'll last at least ten years, why not get them?

3a is not early, but neither is it late. And excuse me, but how many women actually own 38 pairs of shoes?

Look at it on a bright side - you are surrounded by all that 24/7

Oh my friend, you have a lot more to learn :-) :-) :-)

Yeah, 38 is a lot. Even 11 is a lot, as is 17.
2 is not a lot...

Well then, I guess I have an abundance of shoes.

My father would agree with you. He thinks I have a problem.

Is it just me, or are the last half of those in white font? I had to highlight them to read. Maybe they're top secret?

I agree with Reuven though, I'm guessing you've got a LOT more to learn. I can't wait to hear more and eventually someday post some of my own!

-Gruven Reuven: Wish me luck!
-C: Way too much! I have 2 1/2!
-Altie: Voted!
-Chav: Fixed! and I can't wait to read your post on the subject!

lol, i'll definitely have to remember this crucial list. if not for you, I would still think to suggest matching race car bedspreads, when the time came...
if you add any more, make sure to post them!
