The letters of our thoughts are the ideas present in our mind before they come to realization . . . Thoughts that are, yet not felt . . . The words of the subconscious . . . of the soul . . .

These are the LETTERS OF MY THOUGHTS.

Picture of the Week 84 and the Weekly Riddle

Taken last month in Prospect Park during a Fireworks show and concert

Light as air, I move through you hair.
But come my might, you'd better hold tight.
None can touch me, but much can I carry.

What am I?

I'm not sure how clear this one is - so 20 points.
3 points for the first, second and fifth person to comment on the Picture of the Week for once (as I consider it the main point of discussion this week).
5 points for everyone who votes for and comments on the Judaism 2.0 panel at South by South West

Electricity?
Light as air...certainly doesn't weigh anything...moves through your hair (static electricity = hair stands on end).
Come my might- lightning bolt..you'd better hold tight- ie, not move..hold tight to anythign that doesn't transmit electricity...
No one can touch it, but it carries a lot.

I'm thinking wind.

That's a really cook pic, BTW. And I like a lot of your pics... the lack of comments doesn't mean they're not great.

Just like a guy said...

I'm thinking an immersion blender.

Wind!

But come my might, you'd better hold tight.

Four years ago tomorrow, my family and I held on tight to one another as Hurricane Katrina came ashore.

Thank Hashem no one in my family, none of my friends, and no one in my congregation lost their lives. In May we held the dedication for our new synagogue. The one in Biloxi was destroyed by Hurricane Katrina.

shira, i think you deserve points just for an inspirational comment. B"H!

I shall joing the chorus of people saying wind, although I think lightening is a much cooler guess.

Altie said...

can't be. if it strikes u, holding tight aint gonns help nothing. plus, once it hits u, u are either dead, or on fire.

Just like a guy said...

big lav davka. Many people survive lightning strikes, and they don't burn either.

that doesn't mean it IS lightning, that means its a possibility.

Just like a guy said...

What is a possibility?

Yeah, there are Jews here in south Mississippi. We moved our synagogue from Biloxi to Gulfport. It is now further inland. It is Congregation Beth Israel.

Hah and my grandparents live in Gulfport.
