These are the LETTERS OF MY THOUGHTS.

Picture of the Week 83+

and Weekly Riddle 9!

The Weekly Riddle (I try to put them up on Tuesdays or Wednesdays - but as they say here in Montreal C'est la vie)

Light as Air, wet as Sea.
Your day you may judge by me.
Up I am, until I'm done
When that happens, you'd better run!

Who am I?

This riddle is worth 8 points. There are 2 points for the name of the person buried to the immediate left of the Rebbetzin in the picture here.
3 points to the 13th person to comment here, and 2 point for the person to tell me where Mos Eisley is.

Have a good shabbos and regards from Montreal!

vos epes rain?

le7 said...

The riddle is rain and Mos Eisley is a spaceport on Tatooine.

e said...

got that. But why do you think the answer to the riddle is rain?

le7 said...

It's light. It's wet. You decide what you're going to wear, and how much you go out around it. It's up.

Oh OK I dunno.

It didn't occur to me that "judging one's day" could mean deciding what you wear.

Clouds, duh.
I thought it was light, but light isn't wet...clouds are as light as air and wet as the sea..depending on how many are in the sky and of what sort, you judge your day...they're up in the sky till they're done filling with water...when that happens, run for cover. :)
I bet I'm right...

Yup, Chanie...

Just like a guy said...

vus epes star wars?

le7 said...

Can everyone please stop questioning me? It's called google. G-O-O-G-L-E DOT COM.

Mottel said...

LE7 That's cheating!

le7 said...

1. No it's not. You never made such a stipulation before.
2. I meant everyone should google it and leave me alone.

Mottel said...

1. I know it's technically possible - but it ruins the fun! 'meila you ask TRS for the answer . . . Nu.
2. Who was bothering you?

le7 said...

1. I didn't ask TRS anaythang.
2. e and TRS

-LE7: You get 3 points for being lucky number 13! It's interesting to think - we could have E sit down and watch the entire Star Wars . . . and he'd actually be surprised by the twists and turns (I wonder if he has the imagination to enjoy it though . . .)

le7 said...

Yeah I haven't seen them all but I think being at the advanced stage I am in life I'd appreciate them a lot more now than I did in middle school.

chanie said...

Chana- thanks. :)
Mottel- I didn't cheat, nor did I think of googling it.
Wait..does that mean I get to ask for the answer too? And nu, was I right, or not?

Mottel said...

-Chainie I didn't think you were cheating - no one can google my riddles, because they're original :)

The answer will be forthcoming this evening.

Chana said...

This evening? Go ahead... Build the suspense. Privileged family member get answers first, right?

Mottel said...

And the Answer is:
Clouds! Chanie gets it again!

Mottel said...

Of note, dear point hunters: No one has yet correctly answered who is next to the Rebbetzin in the photo!

chanie said...

Yippee! :)
I just like answering riddles...

Since it doesn't look like anyone wants to claim those last two points:

To the left of the Rebbetzin is her grandmother, Rebbetzin Shterna Sara, wife of R' Shalom Dovber, the 5th Lubavitcher Rebbe.

Ohh i was just about to say that.

Sheesh, I should've said what I thought..only I was afraid of being wrong. :D
