The letters of our thoughts are the ideas present in our mind before they come to realization . . . Thoughts that are, yet not felt . . . The words of the subconscious . . . of the soul . . .

These are the LETTERS OF MY THOUGHTS.

Song of David

Last year during the break for Pesach, an AFI (student) film was shot in the Yeshivah. During the course of the filming I got to know some of the cast and crew . . . Amongst them was Seth Menachem ("Zalman") who today will be getting married -this is my shout out to him wishing him a Mazel Tov and blessings for an everlasting home built on true Jewish joy!

מזמור לדוד Song of David the Movie (with Hebrew Subtitles)

The story is for the most part positive, though I honestly wish the staff of the Yeshiva was portrayed in a more positive light . . . Haven't we had enough of the Jewish establishment being played as stubborn and unbending?
The ending, while poetically ending on an ambiguous note, is different from the script I recall reading -where he had been openly accepted into the fold (though I could be mistaken).
But despite these issues and a few gaffes (What's with the hats -they're being put on in the weirdest places . . .), overall the effort came off rather positively.

Talk about random. Not like my Yeshiva experiences.

The video or the post?
It isn't at all like a normal Yeshivah (I love the looped Ma Nishtana that they keep singing.)

I liked the Rosh Yeshiva walking around "making with his hands" to the tune of Narrow Bridge.

BTW, what's your issue, you don't carry a hat around with you in the Mikveh?

Also, you gotta appreciate the irony when the RY tells the Bochurim to get rid of the drugs and he tells them to burn the Chametz.

Looks like you really liked the video . . . My hat? Let me give you a clue -those goes are walking out of where the showers are in that mikvah.

Whoa. Thanks for sending me this ... I wish I had seen it before. I have such respect for him. More than I did when I saw him perform.
