Uplift my words, so that my soul may go with them.
See in them truth, so that you may see truth in me.
If I am the pen, then be the ink that flows through . . .
Give them strength, so that I may be strengthened by them.
Plant a grain, a kernel of wheat in the field of my heart, so that the earth of my soul plowed by life and watered with my tears shall sprout forth.
From one becomes many, and from many one.
Unity with in, and unity with out.
Sleep comes to me, my eyes shut.
I want to write, but have not the strength.
and yet . . .
I want to write, but have not the strength.
and yet . . .

I never realized your writing from Afghanistan?
Neither did I . . .
It's the first country in the list of countries on blogger.

I like this post.
It gets the mind thinking...
I don't mean to psychologically disect your words, but it's interesting to note a few things.
Namely, the fact that you "want to write" yet need the "strength" etc. of others.
It shows that an author has a passion that must be expressed. Words that must flow or else the gates of one's mind will overflow. And yet, it is not that all of an author's thoughts come within.
It is everything that the author sees, his surroundings, the passerbys, the critics, the bystanders, etc. that are the "Chochma" of his writing. The initial "spark" or an idea. It takes a drop of "outside oneself" to expound upon, and enliven what is within.
It's interesting how much depth is in this short post. Was in on purpose, or do I just think too much?
Then again, if you were tired... :)
It seems to me that even when you think you're sachut l'gamri, you can still manage to do something that you're motivated to. Ratzon is the highest power.
I guess my 'prayers' were answered people read into my words, far deeper then even I did. :-)
The truth is, I have a post in mind and wanted to write it last night . . . But I was to tired. So I planned on making a post with only the words: I want to write.
But it grew . . . and grew. Becoming what you see. It was a spontaneous thing. I never had what you said in mind, but if you see it
there, then it's probably true.
C: Nice to see your comments again. Welcome back.

So you enjoy when we readers disect and read into your words? Oh boy you put that into the wrong hands! :)
I think that many times, there is a lot of depth in our worlds, and we can be too "tired" or too "busy" to read into our own words. I think that a lot of the time, so much knowledge and understanding is locked inside of ourselves, that even when we let a little leak out, we still haven't even gotten a glimmer of what's truly in store.
That's why an outside opinion is so needed and so useful.
That's why critics and editors are crucial in writing. Right when we think we might have found the key, someone else points out that the door is already open!
insightful . . .
