The letters of our thoughts are the ideas present in our mind before they come to realization . . . Thoughts that are, yet not felt . . . The words of the subconscious . . . of the soul . . .

These are the LETTERS OF MY THOUGHTS.

13 Things I Have Done That Are Pretty Awesome

Crown Heights -in reflection. Taken with my Palm Treo's camera.

Picking up the meme from IgNoble Experiment
In no particular order, and of no particular importance:
  • I've hiked to the top of a mountain in Slovenia to see a water fall -and got to put tefillin on a group of Israelis in the process!
  • I made a Passover Seder for three years in a row in Lithuania -which included making my on food, bargaining in open air markets, running around like a maniac, and drinking bad Austrian wine.
  • I've spent the last four summers, at least for part of the time, in Venice, Italy and thus know the city like the back of my hand.
  • I used to take Fencing lessons . . .
  • I was able to spend two years under the tutelage of R' Volf Greenglass shlita, a veteran chossid who lived through the previous generation.
  • For ten days this year I was able to travel through Israel on a Birthright trip.
  • When I was younger I used to go on deep sea fishing trips with my friends off of the Catalina Islands.
  • When visiting my friends in Hel, Poland, I missed my bus back to Vilnius, Lithuania, and was able to spend a day by myself in Gdansk -where I found a nice hotel, with out using a word of English, ate only matzo, peanut butter, olive oil and fresh fruit, and had an all around great time.
  • When I was a child I would visit my father on the set while he was filming: I cried in the face of Jane Fonda (she deserves it), was teased by Marlon Brando, palled around with Elijah Wood (but to a greater extent with other members of his family) and other such שטותים.
  • I've had my articles published on chabad.org and in the Algemeiner Journal.
  • I helped take care of a horse for several months as a child.
  • . . . Took Latin for three years.
  • . . . Taught myself to play clarinet.
