Today as we saw a rather interesting scene . . .
A group of anti-war protesters had set up shop on the town green -spouting such ubiquitous inanities as 'Bush lied, they died' and the like . . . Sigh.
Coming from L.A., this is nothing new.
But on the other side of the street stood an Albanian dude, decked out in American flags, protesting for America.
We spoke for awhile -he told me about life under Tito, how he supported Israel, and the like. He would stop to wave his flag and draw up a flurry of honks of support from passing cars.
As we were about to leave, one of the protesters came over to speak to us, but our Albanian friend drove her off after a minute
He's my kind of Albanian.
