The letters of our thoughts are the ideas present in our mind before they come to realization . . . Thoughts that are, yet not felt . . . The words of the subconscious . . . of the soul . . .

These are the LETTERS OF MY THOUGHTS.

The Eight Meme

One of the ubiquitous Israelis at a shopping mall kiosk.
We bumped into Orin yesterday, and as the saying goes -'Have Tefillin, will travel.'

DALED AMOS TAGGED ME...

Each player lists 8 facts/habits
about themselves. The rules of the game are posted at the beginning
before those facts/habits are listed. At the end of the post, the
player then tags 8 people and posts their names, then goes to their
blogs and leaves them a comment, letting them know that they have been
tagged and asking them to read your blog.

  • I play the clarinet: I don't know why I put this one first, or at all, other then the fact that it was the first thing to come to my head. The truth is, I don't play nearly as much as should -perhaps this will motivate me.
  • I like to write: This one should be self evident (I like using that word on the fourth of July) -some of my favorite writings are tagged under Short Stories.
  • As a child I used to love catching toads and frogs: Boys will be boys . . .
  • From sixth to eighth grade I used to carpool with two Russians (Helen and Arthur i.e. Gelina and Artur'chik) who would sit on either side of me and speak in rapid fire Russian . . . I told them that I would one day learn Russian -and while I haven't truly learned it, I've gotten rather close.
  • My favorite drink is tea: And the best tea to drink is Earl Grey -from Twinings . . . a close second would be Jasmine tea.
  • I love trivia: Which is why Wikipedia can often be dangerous waste of time . . . link after link of facts . . . Where do the hours go?
  • I shook hands with a person who killed both of his parents: Today we met X, who I mentioned in the previous week's post -the visit to the ward was an interesting (and post worthy) experience to say the least.
  • When I was I child I spent considerable amount of time on movie sets: Amongst other actors, I met Marlin Brando twice -the second time he asked me if I remembered him. When I told him 'No', he said 'What you don't remember me? Do you want a slap on the face?' . . . I freaked out, but apparently it's a line from The Godfather.
I've now said more about me then you care to hear . . . when all is said and done, despite these things my main goal is to go out there to do good things . . .

Oh you should definely write about your visit to the prison ward! That sounds like quite a story.
