A Jew travels on a boat, the boat springs a leak and begins to sink. He shouts, "Father, Father, Save me!" His father can not help him . . . A Jew travels on a boat, the boat springs a leak and begins to sink. He shouts, "Mother, Mother, Save me!" His mother can not help him . . . A Jew travels on a boat, the boat springs a leak and begins to sink. He shouts, "Rebbe, Rebbe, Save me!" "You will not drown!"
The father and mother, are Chachmah and Binah, one's power of understanding and knowledge . . . Greatness of ones knowledge.
The Rebbe is Malchus, physical action.
All of the deepest contemplations can not bring G-dliness into this world -only physical action connects to the essence.
The father is one's Yichus, his family background; the Mother, sustenance -money.
In a time of need, not family and background or money make the man . . . but rather his connection to the Rebbe -Shlichus
