The letters of our thoughts are the ideas present in our mind before they come to realization . . . Thoughts that are, yet not felt . . . The words of the subconscious . . . of the soul . . .

These are the LETTERS OF MY THOUGHTS.

Tanchum

Reb Tanchum Levine

Reb Tanchum was a unique figure in the L.A. community.
Excentric.
Artistic.
He painted a picture of the Frierdiker Rebbe, as the F.R. posed infront of him -using the time to tell R' Tanchum stories.
At times as a bochur I would listen to Tanchum's stories . . .
His shenanigans when hanging around Beis Harav (he was family . . . in some way or an other)
He claims to have once brought the F.R. his spudik . . . on his own head.
I remember his davening . . . "Avi, Avi -asher barasi . . . Modeh Ani Lefanecha!"
Er zal zien a gutter beiter.
